2-Ingredient Banana Cookies

Cookies For Healthy Children

Not sure what to do with your overripe bananas?  You can whip these crispy on the outside with a soft and chewy inside cookies up in minutes.  They are sure to become a family favourite, these delicious banana cookies are impossible to resist.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1¾ cups quick or rolled oats

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC (350oF). and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the ingredients and mix together.
  3. Scoop tablespoons of mixture and form into balls. Place on the baking tray and flatten slightly.
  4. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes and allow to cool on the baking tray and then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Store in an airtight container for 1 -2 days. To freeze, once cool, put the bakig tray in the freezer, once frozen, transfer to airtight container.
