Banana Nice-Cream

Healthy Kids - Yummy Snack

The best delicious and creamy banana ice cream recipe at home for a healthy dessert or snack, with just two ingredients and unlimited flavour options!

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup full-fat vanilla bean coconut yoghurt or coconut milk

Method

  1. Place the sliced bananas on a lined baking tray and freeze for 1 hour or until very firm.
  2. Combine the bananas and yoghurt in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Spoon into bowls and serve straight away.

 

Try these flavours:

  • Peanut butter – add 2 to 3 tablespoons peanut butter or other nut butter.
  • Cookies’ n Cream – add crushed cookies of choice
  • Berry – add ½ cup frozen berries of choice
  • Sunrise – add ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • Nutella – add a generous spoonful of homemade Nutella
  • Chocolate – add 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Chocolate chip – add chocolate chips
