Nachos
Yummo - Great Healthy Kids Treat
Nachos are the perfect after school snack and kids love them. You can make a big tray or individuals portions of these tasty and nutritious snack that is easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 230gm packet natural corn chips
- 1 cup of mozzarella or cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 can kidney beans or left over Bolognese sauce
- Mild tomato salsa
- 1 small avocado, mashed
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Arrange corn chips in oven proof dish
- Cover corn chips with spoonful’s of toppings such as kidney beans, Bolognese, grated cheese
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- To serve, spoon dollops of mashed avocado and sour cream (optional).
